A non-indigenous village in Sheung Shui, backed on the Mountain of Fu Tei Au, near the Indus River and Sheung Yue River. Here is surrounded by the mountain of Peach Blossom and the flower sea of Water Hyacinth. Whenever the flowers are in full bloom over the pond, it will form a purple flower sea. The village also retains buildings with historical traces of life in the past like Man Ming Temple, stilt houses, and mine sites.

Cultural Revitalisation Project at Fu Tei Au Tsuen

Supported by the Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme, Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service Shek Wu Lutheran Community Development Project implemented the program for two years. Through the community cultural tours, oral history projects, and community art activities, to facilitate public awareness of the history, humanistic value, and uniqueness of Fu Tei Au Tsuen, whereby demonstrate the roles played by Fu Tei Au Tsuen and non-indigenous villages in the New Territories in the development of Hong Kong.
