Yim Tin Tsai is a 300-year-old fishing village located on an island at the Inner Port Shelter in the New Territories. The island has salt pans, and the villagers are mainly engaged in salt making. The village was abandoned in the 1990s when the last family moved out. With the increased interest in conservation awareness, the villagers hope that more people will appreciate heritage conservation.
