Statement of Policy

The Countryside Conservation Office (hereafter “CCO”) respects personal data privacy and is committed to fully implementing and complying with the data protection principles and all relevant provisions under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (“PDPO”):

  • to implement computer, physical and procedural safeguards to protect the security and confidentiality of the personal data CCO collected
  • to limit the personal data collected to the minimum required to provide services requested by you
  • to permit only our properly trained, authorised employees to access personal data
  • not to disclose your personal data to external parties unless you have agreed, we are required by law or we have previously informed you.

Registrations are collected and kept for the purposes of considering and processing the registrations, communicating with the registrants, and checking the record of attendance. Incomplete or inaccurate information provided in the registrations may affect the consideration and processing of the registrations and may result in their being deferred or rejected.

The information provided to CCO, including any personal data as defined in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (the Ordinance), will be used solely for purposes related to this Countryside Conservation Conference.

The CCO will record visits to this website, such general statistical information are collected for the compilation of statistical reports and the diagnosis of problems with or concerning computer systems to help improving this website. When browsing this website, users may have cookies temporarily stored in their computers. The purpose of cookies is to facilitate navigation only.
